What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here’s the telly people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Republic of Telly (RTÉ 2, 10pm)

Kevin McGahern returns tonight to poke fun at and rip the piss out of Irish telly. Nathan Carter, Dáithí Ó Sé, Vogue Williams and Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh will all be on hand to make cameo appearances. Welcome back, lads. #republicoftelly

First Dates (Channel 4, 10pm)

It’s Monday night and you know what that means – loads more singles going to the First Dates restaurant in a bid to find true love. Tonight we’ll meet a 25-year-old man who has never had a girlfriend and a man who thinks love is “insane”. You’re not wrong, mate. #firstdates

Scorchio (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

A hidden camera show in which tourists in Santa Ponsa are targeted by Irish pranksters. Like Punk’d but with more sunburn.

Everyone’s talking about… The Walking Dead

Without getting into spoiler territory, let’s just say that last night’s episode was fierce dramatic.

Suffice to say, everyone is shook.

  • Once Upon a Time n America (TG4, 9.30pm) Long, long, long gangster epic. One to tape and save for a rainy day.
